As a kid, Sunday Picnics at the Park, Drive In Movies,Camping and long rides in the Car, was a Treat when Mom and Dad would always bring along Pickled Balogna. I used to ride my bike into town (1 Mile)just to buy half a Ring. Albertson's used to sell it Years ago. Also a Meat Market in Largo. Both out of Buisness. (The south dont know what they are and look at you funny when you ask for them lol) My family and I recently traveled to Michigan for Thanksgiving and before we left we bought 2 packages of hot dogs and one container of Pickled Bolonga. Well needless to say I am out of Bolonga and cant get anyone to mail me some. Mean people Lol well I found this website and it is awesome that now I can just order here and still have my Koegel's how awesome is that!!!!!

I had Koegels Viennas for the first time a couple of years ago. They were immediately my favorite hot dog. Now I buy these in bulk and have them at home. Family members who visited with us would bring down the Koegel's bologna with them to FL. Now I can order it anytime I want. The best meats I have ever had. Then I found a site a few years ago where I would have tons of bologna and viennas shipped. Now that my husband travels alot to the Midwest, I have him import it. But either way we will always support the Koegels brands. Even my children will whom have grown up in texas, will eat nothing but Koegels bologna!!

I grew up in Michigan where the lunch meats are great and pickled bologna even greater. I have lived live in WA state since 66. On my last visit to MI I brought back a ring of pickled bologna. We live 45 minutes SW of Chicago and ordering on Monday we received on Wednesday - in July when the temperatures were extreme (in 2010) here! I even think I remember the weather saying that one day was the hottest of the year so far! (We originally watched a tv show that showed eating at Michigan Coney Dog spots - and talked about how fabulous your hotdogs are! They are right!) I am happy that I am able to still purchase the rings of pickled bologna from Koegels. Since 1988 living in NY I have not been able to find anyone or any place that sells pickled bologna in the area. Well that is all I thought about today, waiting for my order to be delivered. I knew that UPS did not deliver to my house until around 5:00 PM. Well let me tell you, I was ready for him. I had a fire going in the pit and my hot dog stick at the side and ready. I definately got a chuckle out of the UPS driver,and let me tell you they were good!!! We talked a Bi-Lo grocery store meat market manager here in Moncks Corner to order some; but it didn't sell well; sooo we have come to you to order some. We placed an order hoping that it would get to us cold and when we got it, it was very cold and the gel packs were still frozen.
